Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrive at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. Our representative will meet you at the Airport Arrival hall with a placard of your name. You will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Delhi by chauffer driven Car. Overnight stay at New Delhi
Day 02: Delhi – Jaipur
Morning after breakfast start your 6 Hrs journey to Jaipur the capital city of Rajasthan – a princely state of India. Jaipur is also known as Pink city founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. Jaipur is famous for its Marvellous Forts and Palaces, which still resembles the charm of royal families. Arrive Jaipur and checkin at Hotel. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 03: Jaipur
Morning after breakfast full day tour of Jaipur. We will start tour at around 8 Am from Amber Fort since Elephant ride is easily available in the morning and stops after 11 Am. Visit Amber Fort built with red sandstone and marble. You can visit Hall of Public Audience and Hall of Private Audience , Sukh Niwas, Seesh Mahal. Also visit Jaigarh Fort situated on Hill of Eagles overlooking Amber Fort. Return back to city with a photo stop at Jal Mahal and visit City Palace consisting Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. City Palace lies in the centre of Jaipur city. Also visit Jantar Mantar – A collection of astronomical instruments built in 1727 to 1734, Hawa Mahal – The Palace of Winds. Evening gives you an option of either Shopping at Pink city street market or to visit Chokhi Dhani – A small Rajasthani village setup where you enjoy delicious Rajasthan vegetarian Food with Fold Dance and Music or a Puppet Show. Return back to hotel for overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur – Agra – Varanasi
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra (250 Kms, 5 Hrs). After arrival visit Agra Fort – Once under Sikarwar Rajput and known as Badalgarh, Agra fort was become the capital of Akbar in 1558. Akbar re constructed the fort by sandstone with 1444000 workers and it was completed in 1573. Later visit Taj Mahal during sunset, the colours of sunset and white marble makes Taj Mahal an amazing site. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in the momory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, Taj Mahal is one of the masterpieces of Mughal architecture. Evening transfer to Agra Train station to Board your overnight train to Varanasi. Overnight in Train.
Day 05: Varanasi
Morning arrive Varanasi station, meet our representative and drive to Hotel. Afternoon visit Sarnath located 13 Kms from Varanasi is one of the important place of Buddhist where Gautam Buddha first taught Dharma. Visit Dhamek Stupa, Dharmarajika Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashoka Pillar and Sarnath Archaeological museum. Return back to Varanasi in the evening. Evening (optional) visit Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the prayer ceremony of Holy Ganges. Overnight stay at Varanasi
Day 06: Varanasi – Bodhgaya
Morning after breakfast drive to Bodhgaya. Arrive Bodhgaya and check-in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya. Bodhgaya is one of the four most important sites related to Lord Buddha’s life. Lord Buddha sat under a Bodhi Tree for 3 days and 3 nights for meditation after that he attained the enlightenment. Visit Mahabodhi Temple complex with diamond throne and holy bodhi tree. Also visit various Buddhist monasteries and temples built by different countries built around Mahabodhi temple which reflects the architectural styles of their respective countries. Overnight stay at Bodhgaya
Day 07: Bodhgaya – Ragjir – Nalanda – Patna
Morning after breakfast drive to Patna. Visit Nalanda en-route, home to one of the oldest known universities of the world. Its ruins show that over 2000 teachers and 10000 students from all over the Buddhist world lived and studied here. The Chinese chronicler Huien Tsang spent many years here, both as a student and a teacher. An international centre for Buddhist studies also functions here. Later, visit Rajgir, the ancient capital of the Magadh Kings. Buddha came here often. Rajgir is an important place of pilgrimage for Hindus as the temple complex here is dedicated to the Sun God. Arrive Patna and check-in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Patna.
Day 08: Patna – Vaishali – Kushinagar
After breakfast proceed to Kushinagar ( 230 Kms – 6 Hrs). Enruote visit Vaishali. Lord Buddha visited Vaishali 5 years after his enlightenment. Visit Relic Stupa, Kutagarasala Vihar, Coronation Tank and world peace Pagoda. Continue drive to Kushinagar. Arrive Kushinagar and check-in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Kushinagar.
Day 09: Kushinagar- Lumbini
Morning after breakfast visit Mahaparinirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa – the crimination site of Lord Buddha. Later drive to Lumbini ( 160 Kms, 6Hrs) – The birth place of Lord Buddha located in Nepal. Arrive and check-in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Lumbini.
Day 10: Lumbini – Sravasti
Morning after breakfast visit Mayadevi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, Holy Pushkarni Pond and ancient monasteries. Afternoon drive to Sravasti (225 Kms, 6Hrs). Arrive and check in at Hotel. Stay overnight at Sravasti.
Day 11: Sravasti – Lucknow – Delhi
Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of Sravasti the capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala – Visit Sahet Mahet, Jetvana Vihar, Angulimala’s stupa, Anathapindika’s stupa and an old temple dedicated to a Jain Tirthankara. Also visit various Buddhist monasteries built by Thailand, South Korea, China, Tibet, Srilanka and Myanmar. Afternoon drive to Lucknow (170 Kms, 4 Hrs). Arrive and transfer to Lucknow train station to board overnight train to Delhi.
Day 12: Arrive Delhi
Arrive New Delhi station and meet our representative and drive to Hotel. Rest of the day free to relax. Stay overnight in Delhi.
Day 13: Delhi City Tour – Evening departure
Morning after breakfast start city tour of Delhi covering – Qutub Minar – On of the tallest Minaret in India Qutub Minar was built by Qutb-ud-din Aibak in 1192 by red and black sandstone and marble. It is 72.5 meters high and have 379 stairs. India Gate was built in 1931 in the memory of 90000 soldiers of Indian Army who lost their life in world war I. This is also known as All India war memorial. Humayuns Tomb built is 1562 AD by red sandstone. Red Fort constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 17th century and was the residence of Mughal Emperors, Jama Masjid also known as Masjid-I Jahan Numa built by Shah Jehan in 1658 AD is the largest mosque in India . Also visit The President’s House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Laxmi Narayan temple and Lotus temple. Evening transfer to Delhi international airport for your flight to onward journey.
